Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration

Contact:

AAIM's premiere event is our Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration, bringing together over 1000 people together to share in gratitude for the gifts and blessings of our world. This is a longstanding tradition in Austin and has been going on for 24 years.

Our 24th Interfaith Celebration was held on Sunday, November 23rd, 2008, at First United Methodist Church (FUMC), located at 1201 Lavaca St., just one block west of the State Capitol.  The ceremony included over 80 performers and speakers, including prayer, song, and dance from a beautiful spectrum of religions.  We are so grateful for FUMC's generosity in providing worship space and a reception area following the service.
