Volunteer
Every year over 2,000 volunteers contribute their time and effort to AAIM, improving the quality of life for all of Central Texas:
In 2006,
- 1,200 volunteers put in 20,000 hours of volunteer hours to repair 67 houses through Hands on Housing.
- 1,800 volunteer walkers representing 110 faith communities and organizations raised $148,731 for the CROP Walk for Hunger, the 4th largest fundraising effort out of hundreds of CROP Walks nationwide.
- Volunteers assisted AAIM’s ESL (English as a Second Language) instructors to provide over 1000 hours of instruction to 150 refugees through AAIM's Refugee program.
