Dear AAIM,

The countdown is on to the CROP Walk!

For 29 years, AAIM has partnered with Church World Service to create the largest interfaith event in Central Texas. Walkers representing faith communities from Leander to Cedar Park walk because millions of people around the world walk long distances every day for food, water, shelter and work.

Money raised by walkers and their sponsors goes directly towards the food assistance programs of local and international agencies.

For the second consecutive year, AAIM is welcoming a group of refugee walkers. Come listen to their stories of courage and survival. The CROP Walk promises to be a fun and educational event for the entire family. Take a fight against hunger and sign up to walk today!

Yours in faith,
Rev. Emilee Whitehurst Executive Director

This e-mail is a service of Austin Area Interreligious Ministries (AAIM). Our goal is to alert Austin's faith communities as well as the "spiritually curious" about events that may be of interest. Please note that AAIM does not presume to endorse the events we publicize nor do we necessarily share their faith perspective. We do, however, find these events to be worthwhile contributions to the diverse religious and cultural fabric of our city.
