The Red Bench

Contact:

Faith communities throughout Austin participate in AAIM by supporting the organization financially, promoting AAIM events, facilitating interfaith cooperation, providing volunteers and serving as ethical voices for the community at large. Every participating congregation is invited to send representatives to AAIM's monthly Red Bench program. Replacing our former Delegate Assembly, these Red Bench gatherings provide for interfaith dialog and facilitate cross-congregational partnerships. They are wonderful opportunities to meet community leaders dedicated to finding creative ways to nurture the common good of all Austin residents.

AAIM's next Red Bench gathering will take place on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010, at First United Methodist Church's Family Life Center.  Light dinner provided at 6:00 pm; program begins at 6:30.

Those of you who participated in our Amazing Faiths Dinner Dialogue Dinners will see similarity in the format and breadth of engaging topics in our Red Bench gatherings.

To sign up for the Red Bench, please visit our Red Bench page.
